Life happens

After I  cut my demo in 2010 I was totally unprepared for what came next. I really didn't know what I should do with it after that. I sent it to a local recording studio, a podcast a friend told me about and signed up for a casting website or two, but that was about it.

Lessons learned

I knew I wanted to pursue voiceover after I took the initial workshop, but knew there was no way I could afford it. I thought my dream would have to wait. But someone suggested to me to ask the coach if I could barter services with her. So, I did just that.

What is voice over anyway?

I graduated from college in the spring of 2008. Yup... right when the recession hit. At the time I was working at a preschool and desperately wanted to get out and focus on my career in communications. But... as you know finding a job was tough. It was even harder since I had zero experience.
